Learn Spanish while enjoying a summer vacation in an idyllic environment at the heart of Andalusia, that’s the objetive of the LB Spanish Summer experience!
This town is well-known for its cultivation of traditional Spanish oranges. Palma del Río has unique gastronomy, where this popular orange has become an essential ingredient for all sorts of dishes. You will also have the chance to enjoy such rich gastronomy taking part in our planned activities, such as tastings and guided tours.
In addition, the cultural and monumental wealth of the city complements the charm of it. Palma del Río is a very dynamic and active city, where events and concerts are organized in bars and squares frequently and where you can enjoy the warm and sociable personality of its people.
The ideal location of this town, right in the centre of Andalusia, makes it a perfect spot to travel and get to know this astounding region. It’s close to Cordoba, a 35 minute drive and just over an hour away from Seville. We are also close to other cities such as Cadiz, Malaga, and Granada. Discovering all these Andalusian treasures couldn´t be easier due to Palma del Rio’s location.

The Language Bar is a young and modern language academy where qualified languages teachers are responsible for organizing courses with an interactive and dynamic methodology, in such a way that you enjoy learning!
The intensive Spanish course lasts 1 week, from Monday to Friday, 4 hours a day. In total, 20 hours a week. The groups are very small, between 8 and 10 students per class to ensure the quality of teaching.

Hotel Monasterio San Francisco is a luxurious hotel, located in a renovated Franciscan monastery wich was built in 1492, the year of the Discovery of America.
Located in the old centre and next to a beautiul church, this hotel is close to many bars, leisure areas and tourist attractions.
The hotel has 35 double rooms, all of them have been decorated in an unique and classic way, and they have garden or cloister views. All rooms have air conditioners, phones, TV satellite, lockers, minibars and all the amenities that a high quality hotel could provide.

The gastronomy of this area is known worldwide for its culinary variety and richness. The Mediterranean diet is the main part of its gastronomy, which is distinguished by the use of local agricultural ingredients from Mediterrranean climate countries.
Among its most common ingrendients you will find vegetables, fruit, fish, white meats, pasta, rice, dried fruits, as well as wine and, of course, our world renowned olive oil.

In this experience a 3-hour course of Spanish lessons is included every morning. Lessons are aimed to achieve higher communication skills, based on a functional approach.
Our teachers are highly qualified with a wealth of experience in teaching Spanish to non-native speakers from all ages both abroad and in Spain.
Target language is used in our lessons 90% of the time. We believe this is the best way for you to learn about the language but also through the language.
Lessons are planned to get you involved in the culture, applying what you will learn out of the classroom, making you autonomous in the use of the language during this adventure.
Taking the Spanish immersion course will make you to take with you the learning of the language, unforgettable skills that you will be able to use for any interaction.
